     I only have Skip's  photos from the Sutherland Trail hike this week.

Canyon Lake to First Water Hike, February 13, 1025

The long hike was a key swap this week with one group hiking from First Water trailhead and the other from the Canyon Lake trailhead. That trail passes through some incredibly beautiful scenery but it is by no means an easy hike. The purpose of this hike was to take Terry Sitzman's daughter Teresa and her husband Mike in to where her father died and where we built a cairn to mark the spot. We accomplished that and they were very grateful for us for doing it. Terry's wife Arlene gave us a very generous gift to support our emergency locator equipment and we thank her for that. The weather was sunny and very warm. The short hike this week was First Water to Parker Pass, another very scenic hike.
