Wishbone Horese Trails Loop - Janaury 2, 2015

Happy New Year! The first hike of the year stared out with very cool weather but warmed up as we got going and turned out to be perfect for hiking. There were only 11 of us but we had a great hike in the beautiful Goldfield mountains. We are really fortunate to be able to hike in beautiful areas like this. Those of you who stayed home and warm missed a good one!

Desert Park-Gateway Loop hike, December26, 2014

This was the last hike of 2014 and it was a good one. It was chilly to start but turned out to be perfect weather for a hike. We started off as two groups but joined up as one group for the last part of the hike. The west side of the McDowell Mountains is a beautiful area and we all enjoyed the scenery.
