Hackberry Springs Hikes, December 12, 2014

It was a beautiful day and we hiked in a terrifically scenic area. The two groups met for lunch and finished the hike at almost the same time.

I somehow messed up the settings on my camera and have no pictures from the long hike. It was very disappointing as it was so beautiful there and I took a lot of photos.

Picketpost Mountain Hike, December 5, 2014

Both groups did the same hike today, one going a bit farther than the other. It was a good day for hiking, a bit of cloud cover and the temperature in the low seventies. The air was very clear, which offered views for miles in all directions as the trail headed toward the beautiful Superstition Mountains.

Kings Canyon Hike, November 28, 2014

It was an exceptional weather day for late November; sunny, warm and very clear. We took advantage of the day and had a great hike to the saddle between the Kings Canyon trail and the Sweetwater trail, where we had lunch. On the return trip we stopped to view the stone house and the petroglyphs.
