Pass Mountian Trail Hike, December 11, 2015

We had our first cool weather hike of the year. It was a cloudy day and never really warmed up but it was a good temperature for the hike we were doing. The cloudy weather diminished the photo opportunities of the beautiful Goldfield Mountain area we hiked through but it was a good hike.

Thunderbird Loop Trail Hike, December 4, 2015

It was another great weather day and the two groups hiked mostly the same trail through the area on the east side of Saguaro National Park. The park is well named as we hiked through a cactus forest with lush vegetation and wide open views of the area. With a crestate cactus and some petroglyphs thrown in it was an interesting hike.
