Lost Goldmine Hike - November 13, 2016
We had another beautiful day for hiking and we went to another scenic area to do it in. We did another key swap and met for lunch before continuing on in our separate groups. The route along the base of the mountains offers some spectacular views as well as a lush vegetation area to hike through. all in all an enjoyable day.

Arnett Creek to Picketpost Trailhead Key Swap Hike, November 6, 2015
What a great way to start the new hiking season! The weather was perfect and we hiked through a beautiful area and through two canyons with sculpted rock walls all around and with plentiful green trees and lush vegetation along the creek. The two groups met in the middle of the hike, exchanged keys and had lunch together. Come with us next Friday for another good hike in the key swap format.

A New Season!!
Welcome to a new season of hiking in Arizona with the Palm Creek Hiking Club. As usual we will be hiking every Friday and welcome you to join us. We meet in the parking lot just north of the main mailboxes at 8:00 where we sign in and organize our car pool. We leave promptly at 8:15.
We have a great lineup of hikes for you this year so come and join us. The hikes are all rated and the distances, elapsed times and a brief description of the hike as well as the location are given in the section listing the monthly schedule. We have two hikes every Friday, one usually more difficult and longer than the other.
The ratings go from A, the most difficult to D, the easiest. If you are new to hiking or are not sure of your ability to hike, try hiking the easier hike the first time and see how well you do with that and then hike the ones that you are most comfortable with after that.

Casa Grande Mountain Hike, March 27, 2015
We had a beautiful day for the last hike of the year. The barbeque at the end of the hike capped off a terrific year of hiking. Thanks to Connie for organizing it, setting it up and purchasing all the food. What a great job. Thanks to everyone for making this such a good year.
