Phoneline Trail Hike, January 9, 2015

We had 37 people out for this hike in beautiful Sabino Canyon. We ended up with all of us doing the same hike because Sabino Creek was too high for us to cross, meaning we had to stay on the east side and connect up to the Bear Canyon Road to get back to the trailhead and not being able to do the intended Rattlesnake Canyon portion of the long hike.. It was a good hike with outstanding views of the canyon as the photos below will clearly show.

Wishbone Horese Trails Loop - Janaury 2, 2015

Happy New Year! The first hike of the year stared out with very cool weather but warmed up as we got going and turned out to be perfect for hiking. There were only 11 of us but we had a great hike in the beautiful Goldfield mountains. We are really fortunate to be able to hike in beautiful areas like this. Those of you who stayed home and warm missed a good one!
