Hutch's Pool, West Fork Hike, January 29, 2016

I first want to thank Barry for sending me the photos below and bailing me out. There are no pictures from the long hike as the regular photographer for that hike had a senior moment and forgot his boots at home and missed the hike. I promise I will have them next week if I have to sleep with them and tie one to each wrist, so I won't forget them.

 

 

Hugh Norris Key Swap Hike, January 22, 2016

There was a good turnout for this hike, our biggest group yet this year. After a bit of confusion organizing the vehicles we had a great day. The views from the ridgeline were fantastic. The two groups met for lunch and then continued on to their respective trailheads.

 

50 Year Trail and Valley Hike - January 15, 2016

This was the second hike of the year but it felt like the first as only 9 hikers showed up on the 8th due to the poor weather. We had a great hike in a very picturesque area at the base of the Catalina Mountains, which were covered in snow at the tops. We hiked a new route in order to avoid the high water in the main creek channel. It was a cool day and mostly cloudy but we all had a good hike.
