Upper Javilina, Cochie Canyon Hike, December 18, 2016

It was a cold start but it soon warmed up as we climbed the steep trails to the ridges above. The views were spectacular on all the trails. The two groups took different trails to start but we all met up on the trail and for lunch as well as  the return hike to the trailhead. We had a search for Crestate Saguaros and we saw a few of them as the pictures below will attest. It was a good day.

 

 

Pass Mountian Trail Hike, December 11, 2015

We had our first cool weather hike of the year. It was a cloudy day and never really warmed up but it was a good temperature for the hike we were doing. The cloudy weather diminished the photo opportunities of the beautiful Goldfield Mountain area we hiked through but it was a good hike.
