Dixie Mine Trail Hike November 23, 2012

We had another great day and a very nice hike. Both groups hiked to a small canyon with some petroglyphs, a cave and the bottom tunnel of an abandoned mine. We then hiked up to the top of the mine. The longer hike group then hiked up to a ridge with some outstanding panoramic views of the valley, the Goldfield and Superstition Mountains.

 The weather was perfect and we had a scenic hike to enjoy. We went out in two groups and then met up after lunch and came back together.

Starr Pass - Suprise Pass Loop Hike November 9, 2012

Our second hike of the year was a bit of a challenge trial-wise (We lost the trail a couple of times) but we all made it back in one piece. The weather was better than forecast and everyone had a good time.
